There is hardly a more child-friendly form of holiday than camping: spending the night under the stars out in the green, not having to keep to breakfast times, listening to the sounds of the night. And don't forget the kids from the neighbouring tent. They might be perfect adventure buddies.

The Bernese Oberland: One big adventure playground for kids

Dwarf adventures and marble runs will keep them moving. Stalactite caves become much scarier with dragon stories. And a family kayak tour on Lake Brienz or Lake Thun can easily be transformed into a great bathing experience.
