Wintercamping around Interlaken
Did you know that you can also go camping in the Interlaken holiday region in winter? Experience the cosy feeling that comes after an eventful day in the surrounding mountains with a hot drink and your feet up, while outside the temperatures plummet and inside the pasta bubbles away peacefully.
For those who don't want to miss out on their favourite type of holiday – camping – even in the winter months and simply want to get away from it all, the Interlaken holiday region is ideal:
- Camping Manor Farm, Camping Alpenblick (self-check-in), JungfrauCamp and Camping Stuhlegg are open all year round.
- Thanks to their central location, the surrounding winter sports areas and sightseeing spots are easily accessible by public transport.
- There are also plenty of leisure activities for non-skiers: winter hiking, biking, snowshoeing, paragliding, raclette rafting and much more...
- There is usually no need to clear snow in the morning, as Interlaken is rarely buried under metres of snow. The campsites are easily accessible via main roads (good road conditions).
- The surrounding mountain railways also attract non-skiers with great offers.
