The Bernese Oberland - one big adventure playground for children
Freedom smells of smoke. And sometimes a bit like mud. And when the snake bread - home-baked at one of the many barbecue sites in the great outdoors - is finally (!) ready after impatient turning and twisting, no menu in the world can top the flavour experience.
It is these moments that make holidays around Interlaken, Lake Thun and Lake Brienz something very special: The mountains, lakes, alpine meadows and mountain streams offer space for all ages to experience nature in its purest form. Parents can enjoy the mountain panoramas along child-friendly themed trails, because the children have simply forgotten that they are actually ‘hiking’ with all the dwarf stories or marble runs.
